Initially we had established ourselves on Bluesky for short reports (300 characters or less) and on Medium for longer posts (including our coveted "This Week in Sh*t News"). As of today, we are moving off of Medium. Two reasons really... the first being that it felt like an awkward space to host our satire. The second reason is the newly launched Leaflet.pub felt so right. Let me explain...

Leaflet is built using ATproto which is the underbelly of Bluesky itself. I'm not going to get into technical details, but that means these "longer posts" are interconnected with Bluesky. Check out the comments section for example, it uses your Bluesky account. You can also highlight and quote parts of our longer posts and share them directly on Bluesky. You can also subscribe to our publication here via your Bluesky handle and add a feed to your Bluesky to get our posts delivered there. It's fantastic.

It also means we get a little more creative control over the look and feel, and we like the way it feels. Stop touching me.

Leaflet is growing and adding more features regularly, and it's exciting. They are looking into email subscriptions as well, which is cool. But for now we are happy with the Bluesky integration.

But enough of this boring talk. Let's make some jokes, because it's what your mom would've wanted.
